Sturge-Weber Syndrome
Virtual Family Symposium –

This virtual symposium offers presentations aimed at educating individuals and families affected by Sturge-Weber syndrome on understanding and managing the condition. Bringing together patients and families nationwide, the event provides an opportunity to learn from each other and gain insights from leading experts in the field.
We have moved this conference from September to May to coincide with the Sturge-Weber Foundation Month of Awareness and the Vascular Birthmarks Foundation’s International Month of Awareness for Vascular Birthmarks.

With Naiem Nassiri, MD, FSVS, RVI and Linda Rozell-Shannon,
he VBF VBARS Screening Event is a unique opportunity for our birthmarked community to have a free duplex ultrasound assessment. This is new technology which will determine the vascular birthmark type and the level of involvement of the blood vessels. This is critical for determining what type of treatment should be used. You do not want to miss this opportunity. This is the only place in the world where you can get a free duplex ultrasound screening of a VBARS (vascular birthmark, anomalies, and/or related syndrome).

The Vasular Birthmark Foundation Annual Super Clinic

The VBF 2024 Super Clinic on October 4-5 offers consultations, psychotherapy sessions, ultrasound, dental, SWS exams, and laser treatments to individuals with a vascular birthmark, anomaly and/or related syndrome (VBARS).
